Gareth Ainsworth says a united Wycombe Wanderers will help his side on the pitch when they take on Northampton Town tomorrow (k.o 3pm).
The club are closing in on their highest attendance of the season, and Blues’ boss says that atmosphere can inspire the Blues.
“We’ve had letters and messages of support and they’ve been great,” Ainsworth told Chairboys Player.
“We’ve had a good week mentally and physically, but it’s all going to come to tomorrow at 3pm.
“Be with us, get down and get behind the boys, let’s make Good Friday a Great Friday and send people home with a smile on their face.
“From the FA Cup semi-final to the League Cup semi- final and promotions, this is just as important.
“We need you, your club needs you. We have always said ‘yes we are here and we can discuss how we got here after we are safe’.
“Those discussions will all take place and we’ll assess why it happened and what we have struggled on this season.
“At the moment there is a pressing issue of keeping the club in the league. The when and the whys - forget them, it’s the tomorrows and the now!
“Let’s get this on because I believe Wycombe Wanderers will be staying in the Football League and I will be a very happy man when that happens.”
