Gareth Ainsworth believes Matt Bloomfield and Max Kretzschmar are the likeliest of Wanderers’ injury doubts to feature against Northampton Town on Good Friday (k.o 3pm).
Kretzschmar limped off against Newport County last weekend with a dead leg, while Bloomfield missed that game with a hamstring injury.
Paris Cowan-Hall (ankle) and Anthony Stewart (hamstring) have both trained this week, but the game may come too soon for the pair after their lay-offs.
“It’s difficult to say on Paris because he’s been out for such a long time,” Ainsworth told Chairboys Player.
“Blooms and Max won’t have lost much fitness after picking up their knocks. I’m sure both will be firing and fitness isn’t an issue for them having played so many games lately.
“Anthony, again, has been out a long time and we’ll have to assess his hamstring. Johnno’s obviously back and he’s a big player for us, with a couple of games coming up over this weekend I’m sure he’ll feature.
“We’ve got one or two knocks, but I’m sure Northampton have as well, as will every other club around the country, it’s what happens at this stage of the season.”
