In the spotlight: Dagenham

2 April 2014

Wanderers return to Adams Park on Saturday when play-off chasing Dagenham & Redbridge make the trip to South Bucks (k.o 3pm).

The Daggers go into the game five points adrift of the top seven and are unbeaten in their last eight games. However, five of those matches have ended as draws.

Last time out

Wayne Burnett’s side were 1-0 winners over Oxford United last Saturday when a fortuitous Matt Bevans own goal settled the contest in injury-time.

Head to head

The Chairboys and the Daggers have met eight times in all competitions with Blues winning four times compared to Dagenham’s three.

The last game between the sides was on 30th November when Afolabi Olafemi opened the scoring before Rhys Murphy added a second from the spot after Anthony Stewart had been sent-off. That decision was later rescinded on appeal.

Dagenham will again be without top scorer Murphy and the highly-rated Zavon Hines, who both made a huge impact in the fixture earlier this season.

Tickets are still available for the game and start from just £5 for juniors, £9 for young adults, £11 for seniors and £15 for adults. U7s can enjoy this and all league fixtures for FREE.
