A group from Invest In ME - a leading M.E research charity – will stop off at Adams Park on Friday morning as part of an attempt to visit all 92 league grounds in 92 hours.
The team of four, Mike Harley, Raza Rizvi, Mike Ward and Cat Harley, are aiming to raise awareness of the illness, and it’s a personal mission as a close friend of theirs has been off work for over seven years because of it.
Team leader Mike Harley said: "The idea is to help raise the profile of M.E, the need for research into the illness and the Invest In ME charity. It's going to be a gruelling challenge but one as football fans we're all looking forward to!"
The quartet start the event in Plymouth and will finish in Middlesbrough on Easter Monday, having completed the 2,700 mile challenge.
