Gareth Ainsworth will give Josh Scowen as long as possible to prove his fitness ahead of Saturday’s clash at Plymouth Argyle.
“Hopefully that’ll give us the best chance of winning the game. Whether that means the boys are back in the team or we stick with the same team – who knows?
“We’ve got two days of training before the game and I’ve got a few things in mind - what I want to do and how we want to play.
“The squad I take will be strong,” Ainsworth told Chairboys Player. “Charles is back from his red card while Bloomers and Dean Morgan should be fine – there’s three players that could walk into any League 2 team.
However, the game will probably come too soon for Jon-Paul Pittman (back) and Paris Cowan-Hall (knee).
Charles Dunne is available again after serving his three-game suspension and Dean Morgan (ill) and Matt Bloomfield (groin tightness) are in contention to return to the squad.
The all-action midfielder missed the wins at Exeter City and Hartlepool United after rolling his ankle in the 2-1 success over Southend United.
