Blues to host Bristol City

7 September 2013

Wanderers have been drawn at home to League 1 side Bristol City in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy second round.

Gareth Ainsworth’s side secured their place in round two with a 2-0 victory at Exeter City on Tuesday, while City beat rivals Bristol Rovers 2-1 the following day.

Sean O’Driscoll’s men are yet to taste success in the league this season following relegation from the Championship, but are unbeaten in their last four in all competitions.

The last time the two sides met was back in August 2004 when Leroy Lita’s goal earned the Robins a 1-0 victory at Adams Park in the League Cup.

The tie will be played on Tuesday 8th October and ticket prices will be announced in due course.
