Gareth Ainsworth has been boosted by the return to fitness of several of his squad for Saturday’s clash Torquay United (k.o 3pm).
Leon Johnson and Jon-Paul Pittman are available again after missing the last two games through injury, while Matt McClure sat out Tuesday’s 2-1 win over Bristol City, but is fit for selection.
Steven Craig is also in contention after returning to training following a viral infection, but the game may come slightly too soon for the striker.
Dean Morgan will be missing again though with a nerve problem in his thigh, while Charles Dunne serves the second of a two-match ban.
“The only one that would be a risk would be Dean Morgan and I can categorically say that he won’t be involved,” Ainsworth told Chairboys Player.
“He won’t be risked even if he thinks he’s around it.
“Steven Craig needs to get more strength in his body and he hasn’t completed a full session yet so we’ll have a look at him. Everyone else is fit.
“We haven’t had major injuries, touch wood, but we’ve had the odd niggle here and there that every club gets.
“There are some big names coming into the squad, but I’m sure Torquay will come with strong squad and we’ll have to bring our A-game to be in with a shout.”
Two adults, a junior (8 to 18) and a child (7 & under) can watch the game for just £30.
Regular prices start from £7 for juniors, £11 for young adults, £13 for seniors and £17 for adults. Blues Card holders will receive a £2 discount on individual tickets.
