Paris Cowan-Hall says there is plenty more to come from him as he increases his fitness game by game.
The versatile forward capped a man-of-the-match display with two goals as the Blues beat Torquay United 3-2 last Saturday.
However, it hasn’t all been plain sailing for the 23-year-old since he joined the Blues from Plymouth Argyle during the summer as he injured the medial ligament in his left knee against Mansfield Town on 17th August and only returned to action earlier this month.
He said: “It has taken a bit of a toll on my legs, but I’m one of the fittest at the club so I should be able to get back into it.
“Games like that (Torquay), when you’re running around and putting yourself about, are good because come next week I’m even fitter.
“It was really frustrating and I’m really bad at being injured so that makes it even worse.
“It’s part and parcel of the game and I’ve got to take the rough with the smooth, and I’m having the smooth at the moment.”
