Max Kretzschmar says he’s learning every day by watching his fellow midfielders in training.
The 20-year-old, who scored the only goal of the game in last Saturday’s win at Bristol Rovers, has made a big impression so far this season after breaking into the Wanderers first team.“We have a nice little blend in midfield at the moment,” he told ‘Quarters’.
“Stu Lew and Josh are a bit similar as they both tackle and get around the pitch. They have incredible energy during games and Blooms is the same as well, but a bit more advanced.
“Then you have Billy just at the top who is a really clever player. I’ve learnt a lot from him since he’s come in. His intensity in training is brilliant and you can see his Premier League quality.”
An in-depth interview with Kretzschmar can be found in Saturday’s edition of ‘Quarters’, along with all the usual features, including a column from skipper Stuart Lewis.
