Gareth Ainsworth will be able to call upon Gary Doherty and Matt McClure again this weekend for the trip to Bristol Rovers.
The pair missed Saturday’s thrilling 3-2 triumph over Torquay United due to illness.
“Doc and Matty will both be back,” Ainsworth told Chairboys Player. “They were ill and had last weekend off which was needed. Their energy levels were down.
“It’s not nice this time of year when the season’s change – you do get illnesses and we kept everyone away from each other on Monday.
“Tuesday we came back and most of them trained, but today’s (Thursday) the day when we really start to know who will be in the squad or not.”
Elsewhere, Ainsworth will continue to monitor strike pair Dean Morgan and Steven Craig, but Leon Johnson has been ruled out of the clash at the Memorial Stadium.
“Leon’s hip is sore and will miss this weekend. Morgs and Stevie Craig will be training today so they’re officially back fit.
“Theo Farley (physio) works very closely with me and often dictates what the injured lads can do in training. They’ll do most of the session, not all of it.
“We’ll have a look at them and assess the situation, but they’re both back and both big players.
“Stevie’s come and shown what a nuisance he can be leading the line and he's done really well. Dean’s Dean – we all know what he’s capable of.
“They’re backing up what we’ve had in the past couple of weeks – Pittman, Kuffour, Paris and, of course, Matty McClure, who gives us goals, goals, goals.
“We’ve got some good attacking options and they add to it so hopefully they’ll come through the session OK.”
