Wycombe Wanderers were proud to host the launch of the countywide 2013 Poppy Appeal at the weekend.
Monty received a certificate of appreciation from Mr Snaith after the club helped raise £788.18 for the Poppy Appeal last year.
Ninety-nine-year-old club president Monty Seymour and dignitaries, including mayor Trevor Snaith, took part in a service on the pitch ahead of the fixture with Bury on Saturday.
Speeches by the pair were then followed by the sound of The Last Post, a minute’s silence and The Reveille.
Members of the Poppy Appeal were on hand to sell poppies and collect donations around the stadium before the 3pm kick-off.
High Wycombe's Appeal was launched in The Chilterns Shopping Centre at 11am.
