Blooms itching to impress home fans

4 October 2013

Matt Bloomfield has called on the Chairboys to turn on the style this weekend in front of a Family Fun Day crowd at Adams Park.

Blooms hopes as many supporters as possible show their faces and back the Blues as they look to cement their strong start to the season.
He told Chairboys Player: “Hopefully a lot of families will come down to the game. First and foremost, we want to win the game with a good performance and hopefully give the fans something to cheer about.

“We know if we are going to have a successful season our home form is going to be important, so hopefully we can put on a good show for our fans.”
anderers will look to return to winning ways after the defeat to Rochdale  H

last weekend, and the 29-year-old is confident a win over last year’s play-off finalists Burton Albion can be the catalyst to another unbeaten run.
e said: “The fact we’ve been on such a good run meant a defeat was going to happen at some point (at Rochdale), but we want to start another run starting from this weekend.
“It’s a home game in front of our fans so we’re looking forward to getting out there and put right the wrongs from last weekend.

“They’ve got a good solid, experienced team so it’s going to be a tough game, but every week in this league is and we back ourselves against anyone as we’re confident in the squad we have here.

“The important thing is that we respond with a performance, and hopefully then the result will take care of itself.”
A family of four (two adults & two children) can attend the game for just £25, while entry for adults is £15, senior citizens £11, young adults (19-25) £9, juniors (eight to 18-year-olds) £5 and children (U7) are FREE. These prices are for all areas of the ground.
