Max Kretzschmar says Wanderers created enough opportunities to beat Exeter City on Tuesday and need to start being more ruthless in front of goal.

“It was frustrating, we got 1-0 up and Exeter came out sharp in the second half,” the midfielder told wwfc.com.
“They had a 15-minute spell later on and scored, but we finished well.
“I had the chance at the end and we had a couple more. Gaz has told us that we need to be a bit more clinical and I agree with that.
“We’ve started slowly in games and we made sure that we started sharply, which I think we did. We kept the ball quite well without really penetrating them, but we did have a couple of chances and got the early goal. It was just a shame that they got one back at the end.
“Late on when it was 1-1 the game got stretched so there was more space inbetween the lines and down right-hand side where I was. It was good to be heavily involved, it was just a shame that we didn’t get the win.
“It was 1-1, we haven’t lost and we’ll go into the next game at Dagenham positive. It was Gaz’s first game there last year and I feel we’ve definitely improved. We know we’re a better team - it’s a case of proving it.”
