Max Kretzschmar has become the fourth Wanderer to agree a new one-year contract ahead of the 2013/14 campaign.
“Hopefully I can get on the bench a bit more, make my debut and get some appearances under my belt.”
He added: “Seeing Josh play 30 or 40 games last season inspires you to do what he’s doing, Jesse as well.
“I’ve been in love with the club since the day I joined and I just want to keep it going.”
“I’m delighted to be staying,” Kretzschmar told Chairboys Player. “I’ve been here since I was 14 and it’s a dream come true to sign a new contract.
The attacking midfielder continued to impress which led to him signing his first professional deal last summer.
Kretzschmar arrived at Adams Park at the age of 14 and played a pivotal role in helping the U18s win the Youth Alliance Cup in May 2011.
The 19-year-old follows Matt Bloomfield, Dean Morgan and Lee Angol who have all committed themselves to the club in the past 10 days. Max’s full interview will be available to view shortly on Chairboys Player.
