Foster, meanwhile, underwent further surgery today (Tuesday) to cure a knee problem.
Stewart suffered a severely fractured left hand in Saturday’s clash at Rochdale and will undergo an operation later this week.
which needs stabilising ahead of a return to action.
As for Grant Basey, it is hoped he will be back training before the campaign is out, but he won’t be fit for a return to the first team this season.
