OWWSA (Official Wycombe Wanderers Supporters Association) continued their magnificent support of the club with a £3,000 cheque presentation on Saturday.
Centre-back Leon Johnson received the cheque on the club’s behalf from Sandie Derben, social and fundraising chair of OWWSA, before the 1-0 victory over Fleetwood Town.
The £3,000 came from the proceeds of OWWSA’s Race Night, Quiz Night and the letting out of their box on home matchdays.
OWWSA have now donated £18,000 to the club in the past two years.
OWWSA chairman John Derben said: “We’re very pleased to be able to continue to help the club, especially when finances are as tough as they are at the moment.
“We’re leading the way for the ordinary supporter to make a contribution to their club. Every penny counts and it would be great if people could take advantage of the £10 donation scheme which has been made public in the past couple of days.”
He added: “The bulk of the £18,000 has come from our away coach travel. We’ve got six away games left this season so why not join us, receive discount on travel to Wanderers games and help your club at the same time.”
