Junior Morias says his loan spell at Hendon re-affirmed just how much he wants to succeed at the Wanderers. The 17-year-old scored five times during eight games on loan at the Ryman Premier Division side, during which time Hendon remained unbeaten.
“I enjoyed it and playing 90 minutes is the best thing for a youngster,” he said.
“The gaffer said he sent me out to get 90 minutes and get goals under my belt. Obviously working hard is the key and that’s all I could do.
“As a youngster you want to be around the place and you want to be around the first team. Sometimes you have to think ‘is this best for me’ and it was.
“The gaffer and Dobbo saw that and sent me out on loan and I did what I did and worked hard. I represented the club and the gaffer and did all I could do before coming back.”
Morias added: “You see a lot of people in the Ryman Prem who want to be in our position so it makes you work even harder. I play for Wycombe and want to stay there, so I do everything I can to stay in the position I’m in now.”
