Junior Morias has been recalled by Wanderers boss Gareth Ainsworth following a highly-successful loan spell at Ryman Premier Division side Hendon
The 17-year-old scored five times in eight games for the Greens, during which time they remained unbeaten.
Morias is set to be included in Saturday’s squad to face Fleetwood Town with injury doubts surrounding Bruno Andrade and Joel Grant, who were both substituted during Tuesday’s victory at Torquay United with ankle injuries.
“Junior’s done fantastic at Hendon,” Ainsworth told Chairboys Player.
“He’s scored a few goals, as has Lee Angol, and they’ve both really turned it on at Hendon. They’ve had a big rise in the league and a lot of it is because they’ve been there.
“Gary McCann, the manager there, has been fantastic with them and I’ve got exactly what I wanted out of the loan for Junior Morias and Lee Angol.
“Junior needed to play 90-minute games and score goals. He’s still been around the place, training with us and he’s looking sharper and sharper. He’s such a bubbly character and he’s fantastic to have around the place.
“Getting Junior back in the squad is a big thing and I’m sure he’s going to be a big player for us in the future.
“Junior will be in the squad this weekend and he could well get his chance. We’ll have to assess it, but I know that whatever I say to Junior he will take the right way. He’ll be positive and he’ll be in and around the place this weekend.”
