Ainsworth demands better from Blues

11 March 2013

Gareth Ainsworth wants a vast improvement in his side’s performance when Rotherham United are the visitors to Adams Park on Tuesday evening.

Wanderers were beaten 4-1 at Rochdale on Saturday, leaving the 39-year-old to contemplate making changes to the starting XI for the clash with the Millers.
He said: “We had a bad day, everyone had a bad day. It’s not acceptable to be beaten 4-1 away at Rochdale.

“They know my feelings and if I have to speak to individuals about certain things then I will do that, but we’ll come out stronger from this, believe me. We win together, we lose together.

“We can do a lot better. We looked a bit out of sorts, but we’ll address that and go again Tuesday. The positive thing is we have a game so quickly to put things right.
“We’re still 14
and there’s still a lot of teams beneath us. I still want another win to make sure. There are things to work on and I’ll be a busy man in the lead up to the Rotherham game.” or call 01494 441118.  buy online Tickets for the next round of 'Rock 'N' Roll Football' start from just £5 for juniors and £16 for adults -

He added: “There’s some lads waiting in the wings and they’ll want the chance to play. I might shuffle it around, we’ll have to see.”
