Gareth Ainsworth has thanked the Wanderers fans for their superb support during Saturday's 2-2 draw with AFC Wimbledon.
Ainsworth was unable to do a post-match interview due to losing his voice whilst trying to shout above the Wycombe faithful, but he wanted to express his gratitude for the fantastic noise created by the 764 Chairboys in attendance.
He said “I couldn’t speak after Saturday’s game and I was pretty hoarse and I just wanted to say thanks for all your support.
“The way you got behind us, literally right behind the dugout was fantastic. You were brilliant and I thought you played a big part in the result.
“Thank you to everyone that turned up. It was two fan-owned clubs and I thought we represented ourselves very well - I’m proud to be the Wycombe manager.”
