Wanderers will become the latest club to take part in the popular Johnstone’s Paint Pot Challenge this week.
The Chairboys have signed up to the challenge, an initiative designed to take fan and club engagement with Johnstone’s Paint to the next level.
The Challenge, which is in its first season, provides a unique test of crossing ability and accuracy and is proving a major success.
Ten representatives from the Wycombe playing staff will attempt to chip the ball from the corner of the 18-yard box into a giant inflatable paint pot situated on the six-yard line.
Participants successful in dinking the ball into the paint pot will earn their team 10 points, while one point will be awarded for each time the paint pot is struck.
Oxford United currently lead the way with 32 points, with Coventry City second on 25 points and Doncaster Rovers third on 14 points.
The club with the most points at the end of the season will win £2,000 worth of Johnstone’s Paint product for a makeover, while the second and third teams will receive £1,000 and £500
worth of Johnstone’s Paint product respectively.
The Johnstone’s Paint Trophy team will be there to catch all the action on camera and the video will be uploaded to the official Johnstone’s Paint Trophy YouTube channel.
The six videos issued to date have proved a major hit with supporters, attracting more than 12,000 views.
