Junior Morias and Lee Angol continued their fine form on loan at Hendon by playing major roles in the Greens’ 3-0 victory at third-placed Canvey Island.
Morias collected Angol’s perfectly-weighted through-ball, burst past his marker and then drilled into the bottom corner for Hendon’s second goal.
Angol has scored three goals and Morias two during the duo’s spell at the Ryman Premier Division side and Hendon have won four and drawn one since the pair joined last month.
Emmanuel Ighorae made his Havant & Waterlooville debut as a second-half substitute, but the Hawks slipped to a 1-0 defeat at Welling United in Blue Square South.
Meanwhile, Matt Ingram’s Oxford City lost ground in the race for the Blue Square North play-offs as they lost 2-1 at to Gloucester City.
