Dean Morgan says the support he's receiving from the Wanderers faithful is helping him make a difference on the pitch.
Morgan scored twice on Saturday as the Blues romped to a 4-0 victory over York City, taking him to seven for the season, two goals behind top scorer Matt McClure.
“I’m enjoying it, the club's enjoying me and the fans are, so you can’t ruin something that’s going well,” Morgan told Chairboys Player.
“They appreciate me and I love that. A lot of people think I’m a rebel of some sort but I do everything I can for the team, the fans and the boss.”
He said: “The boys are confident and we’re just steamrolling teams at the minute even if we’re not playing that well.
The Chairboys go into tomorrow's clash with Bradford City in fine form, having won three in a row and four of their last five, and Morgan says confidence is sky high within the Wycombe camp.
“As I keep saying, it’s all about confidence. Fair play to all the back four and Jordan, if we’re doing our job then it makes it easier for them.
“The position we were in, we’ve got to be safe before we can start looking up, but for me personally it’s all about what’s above us and I don’t think there are many teams better than us.”
