Wanderers welcome in-form Scunthorpe United to Adams Park on Saturday as they return to Sky Bet League 2 action.
The Iron go into the game on the back of three consecutive victories – a run which included a stunning 4-0 win at promotion rivals Rochdale, and they lie just a point adrift of leaders Oxford United.
Caretaker managers Russ Wilcox and Tony Daws have overseen all of those successes and Scunthorpe have a 100% record since they dispensed with the services of former boss Brian Laws following the defeat to rivals Grimsby Town in the FA Cup.
Sam Winnall leads the way in the scoring charts with nine goals in the league and the former Shrewsbury Town man has netted in his last two games.
Chairboys enjoy slightly the better of the head-to-head records between the sides, having won three times compared to Scunthorpe’s two, the other three games have all ended as draws.
However, Scunthorpe romped to a 4-1 victory the last time the two teams met with Matt McClure’s first professional goal the only positive from Blues’ trip to Glanford Park.
Wanderers have fared much better in South Bucks though, and are unbeaten in their four home matches against the Iron, winning two and drawing two.
