Striker set for spell on sidelines

17 December 2013

Steven Craig has been ruled out of action for six weeks after pulling his thigh in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Scunthorpe United.

Meanwhile, Charles Dunne (fractured tibia) and Jon-Paul Pittman (knee) are continuing their recoveries.

Gary Doherty is hopeful of returning to training by the end of the week after missing the fixture with a back complaint.

Paris Cowan-Hall, who also had to be replaced during the game, will today (Tuesday) undergo further assessment to determine the extent of the knee injury he picked up on the hour mark.
