Leon Johnson says Wanderers need to pick up where they left off against Scunthorpe when the Blues travel to Northampton Town on Saturday (k.o 3pm).
The centre-back headed home in the 96th-minute to earn Gareth Ainsworth’s side a 1-1 draw against the Iron, despite having already been reduced to 10 men following Josh Scowen’s dismissal.
Johnson said: "Northampton have picked up in recent weeks. If we play like that and battle like that, and stick one or two of our chances away, hopefully we can get a win.
"It was a workmanlike performance. We could have played better and passed it a bit more, but saying that I think we had the better chances, especially 11 v 11. If you stick one or two of them away the game changes a bit."
Blues boss Ainsworth added: “We've had a lot of late goals against us early in the season, we've had a few red cards - maybe it's just turning our way a bit.
"Last minute at Portsmouth, last minute against Scunthorpe - maybe we are turning the right way and maybe with a little bit more quality, hopefully we can see games out and start winning games."
