Wanderers have appealed the red card shown to Anthony Stewart in Saturday’s clash at Dagenham & Redbridge.
Gareth Ainsworth said: “I think it’s a poor decision. Anthony Stewart is adamant he got the ball first before anything. It’s a very, very soft penalty.
The in-form centre-back was given his marching orders for what referee Keith Stroud felt was a foul on Rhys Murphy as the striker bore down on goal. “All my players are distraught in there. They are all saying no chance. Anthony got the ball, he’s not taken the man out.”
