Wycombe have signed Cardiff City goalkeeper Elliot Parish on a short-term emergency loan deal.
Boss Gary Waddock has acted quickly after first-choice keeper Nikki Bull was ruled out of action after aggravating a thigh strain.
Matt Ingram is also unavailable after undergoing surgery yesterday (Monday) to repair damaged cartilage in his knee.
Waddock told wwfc.com: “Bully’s been struggling for a while now but he’s an important player for us and we wanted him out there.
“However, it’s come to the time now where he needs rest so it can heal properly, but we’re hopeful it’s only a short-term problem.”
Parish, 22, started his career at Premier League side Aston Villa where he worked alongside established internationals such as Brad Friedel and Shay Given.
The former England youth international enjoyed loan spells at Lincoln City and Cardiff early last season, before joining the Bluebirds on a permanent deal in January.
"It will be nice to get out on the pitch again, he told Chairboys Player."It’s unfortunate with the injuries here, but it’s my opportunity now so hopefully I take it.
"Anywhere in the league is a good standard and I’m looking forward to it."
Parish, who will wear 36, goes straight into the squad for tonight's game at Exeter City (k.o 7.45pm).
