Dean Morgan says it will be a proud moment to be involved in Wycombe's 125th anniversary game against AFC Wimbledon on Saturday (k.o 3pm).
Morgan, 28, scored his first goal for the Wanderers on Tuesday at Exeter City and could be set for his home debut when the Dons visit Adams Park.
“To be part of history is always exciting and I was a part of that when I won the league with Chesterfield,” said Morgan.
“It’s going to special and hopefully there will be a lot of fans supporting the team and the club. If we can get as many fans as possible it will be great.”
Morgan added: “I would have taken a win (at Exeter) over the goal, but I’m feeling that the three points are going to come pretty soon, hopefully this weekend.
“To be honest I think we’ve done really well and the smallest things at the minute seem to be making the biggest differences. I think once we rectify those, get a lead and be strong with it then we will be ok.”
