Matt McClure has set his sights on being included in the Northern Ireland U21s squad for their friendly with England in November.
McClure, 20, was capped for a second time at that age group when he came on a substitute in their Euro 2013 qualifier against Denmark recently.
“It’s a good standard,” he told wwfc.com. “Not many people get the chance to play at that level so it’s an honour.
“I got half an hour which I was pleased with. Hopefully I’ve done enough to be named in the squad for the England game. “It would be brilliant if I was called up, even if I don’t play, just to be there and be involved.”
