Kuffour agrees two-year deal

6 September 2012

Wycombe Wanderers are pleased to announce that Jo Kuffour has agreed to extend his stay at Adams Park until the summer of 2014.

The striker initially joined the Blues on a short-term contract last week, but after impressing boss Gary Waddock, Kuffour has been tied down to a longer deal.

Kuffour was introduced at half-time in the Chairboys’ defeat to Southend United last Saturday and played an hour in Tuesday’s development squad friendly with Tottenham Hotspur as he continues to build up his match fitness.

“I’m pleased to get it all sorted,” Kuffour told Chairboys Player.

“It’s been a long time and I just want to get the shirt on now and give 100% for myself, my family and the fans.

“I would like to thank God for giving me another opportunity to continue playing football which I love. It’s a great feeling.”
