Taylor and Morias swat the Hornets

16 October 2012

Goals from Olly Taylor and Junior Morias earned a Wanderers XI a 2-0 victory over Watford this afternoon (Tuesday).

Taylor broke the deadlock in the 15th minute when he converted from the penalty spot after being brought down in the area.

Morias went on to secure the win 10 minutes after the break when he shrugged off a defender and curled past the keeper.

Winger Sam Wood stepped up his recovery from injury with 55 minutes and he suffered no reaction to being back in action.

Assistant manager Richard Dobson said: "It was difficult conditions with the wind and a heavy pitch, but we adapted well.

"I was very pleased with the defensive shape and approach and we restricted them to very few chances."

Wanderers: Ingram, Ehui, Hause, Winfield, Stewart, Morias, Angol, Kewley-Graham, Wood (Kretzschmar 55), Taylor (Ighorae 40), Logan.
