Junior Morias says he is "reaping the rewards" of a hard summer after breaking into the Wycombe squad.
The 17-year-old made his professional debut as a second-half substitute at Dagenham & Redbridge last Saturday, and impressed again when Plymouth Argyle were in town on Tuesday night.
“It felt good,” Morias told '1887'. “You think to yourself ‘when is my chance going to come’, and when it comes it’s a different type of feeling. It’s marvellous, words can’t explain it.
“I went out there in both games and worked hard. I wasn’t focusing on myself, I was focusing on the team and how I help the team.”
He added: “I feel like I’m in good shape and reaping the rewards. I was a bit heavy in pre-season, but I’ve worked hard and have trimmed down.
“So I just thought I’m doing this for me, my family and the club. Even though the squad went hard in pre-season, I went harder to get my body fat down.”
