Johnson: Pick ourselves up for Plymouth

1 October 2012

Leon Johnson has called for everyone to stick together as Wanderers look to end a poor run of results when Plymouth Argyle visit Adams Park on Tuesday (k.o 7.45pm).

Caretaker boss Gareth Ainsworth took charge of the side for the first time at Dagenham & Redbridge on Saturday, but a 3-0 defeat ensured the Chairboys left East London empty-handed.

Johnson said: “We will turn it around. There are enough positive lads in the changing room and Gaz is positive. We just need that bit of luck and to keep working hard.

“Everybody needs to stick together because we are in a dogfight.

“We have come down and everybody has expected us to be up there again this season but it hasn't worked out that way. Now we need to roll our sleeves up and put some points on the board.”

Tickets for Tuesday's game against Plymouth start from just £5 for juniors and £16 for adults. Call 01494 441118 or buy online
