Caretaker boss Gareth Ainsworth says the attitude of his side was key to them picking up their first home win of the season on Saturday.
The victory over Torquay United built on Tuesday’s impressive display against Plymouth Argyle and Ainsworth believes every player is up for the challenge.
Ainsworth said: "There were people flying into challenges we haven't seen fly into challenges as Wycombe players - they are doing that now. I'll always get it from the Fosters and the Lewises and the Winfields, but now I have from the Grants, the Morgans and the Kuffours.
"It just shows everyone is so up for it. They are not just talking, their actions are speaking far more words than any talking can do.
"The attitude and spirit they've got is fantastic and they can't drop that now. They have shown it to me, I know it's there - they can't say we can't do it, because they have done it.
"Results will come and go - performances are important to me.”
Ainsworth led his squad over to the Wycombe fans at the end of the game to show their appreciation and he says the atmosphere around Adams Park is changing.
He added:Everyone seems to have lost their way at this football club in the last six months and we seem to be coming together again and there is a buzz about this place again.”“
