Gary Waddock will give players 45 minutes each in the Blues' pre-season opener at Farnborough on Saturday (k.o. 3pm).

Wanderers adopted the same approach to their first pre-season game last summer when they beat Staines Town 5-0.

. "We have some games for the younger lads as well that they can use for their match fitness.
"The game is all about fitness and the lads will play 45 minutes and work as hard as they can. The result isn't important and there aren't three points at stake, so the plan is for fitness."
The fixture comes after two tough weeks of training and Waddock says his players cannot wait to get stuck into match action again.
He said: "They are looking forward to it. When the games come around they can see the training dying down a touch which they will be pleased with.
"The games are good and match fitness is different to training ground fitness."
