Merry Christmas from the Blues

24 December 2012

Wycombe Wanderers would like to wish all of its supporters a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Boss Gareth Ainsworth said: “Hi to all the Wycombe fans, thanks for your support – it’s been fantastic so far.

“I hope everyone has a real Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Hopefully we can get some more results with Rock’N’Roll Football. Keep supporting us, have a good one.”

Joint-chairman Don Woodward said: “I’d like to thank each and every one of you for your support throughout the year, whether you’ve been to every game or just a select few. Although I have only been involved as joint chairman since July, the dedication, commitment and positivity that we’ve all felt from you has been overwhelming and we’re really appreciative of the way you have stuck with us through the difficult times.

“Now we’re a club on the up, and everyone here will be giving our utmost to make 2013 a fantastic year for Wycombe Wanderers in the second half of our 125th anniversary season. We’re a supporter-owned club with a group of very talented players, an excellent management team and – most importantly – a superb fanbase who are the heartbeat of everything we’re trying to achieve. You can’t help but raise a smile to that.

“From me and all the staff here at Adams Park, have a very Merry Christmas.”

See you all at Adams Park on New Year’s Day for the visit of Exeter City!
