Wycombe have completed their second signing of the day with the arrival of versatile left-sided player Matt Parsons from Crystal Palace on a one-month youth loan.
Equally adept at left-midfield or left-back, Parsons featured six times for the Eagles in the Championship last season. He also enjoyed a loan spell at Barnet during the latter stages of the 2010/11 campaign, making eight appearances.
The 20-year-old was in action for Palace’s U21 side on Monday and scored a powerful effort during his side’s 3-1 defeat to Liverpool.
Boss Gary Waddock said: “We’ve been watching him for a while. He’s an attacking full-back, but with Sam Wood out injured we may play him one position further forward.
“He’s a very positive player, is direct and will give us another option on the left.”
Parsons has been handed the squad number 24.
