Dennis Oli got on the scoresheet as a Wycombe XI drew 1-1 with Luton Town yesterday.
New signing Jo Kuffour got 65 minutes under his belt, while there was a welcome return to action for Danny Foster who played 45 minutes.
Luton opened the scoring on the hour mark when they broke quickly from a Wanderers corner and finished well.
Chairboys responded and drew level five minutes later following a neat break down the left. Junior Morias found Max Kretzschmar with a clever backheal and the midfielder picked out Oli who stooped to head home from six yards.
Assistant manager Richard Dobson said: “It was a competitive game, but the performance was a bit sporadic. They had spells on top and so did we but it was a good workout.
“Fozzie did OK considering he hadn’t played so far this season and we were very pleased that he managed to get 45 minutes.
“Jo got some minutes under his belt and showed his class on a few occasions. He just needs more time on the pitch to get that match sharpness.
