Striker Stuart Beavon has joined npower League 1 side Preston North End for an undisclosed fee.
The club would like to thank Stuart for his excellent service and wish him every success for the future.
“There has been a lot of rumour and speculation about his future throughout the summer, but the deal is now complete and I wish him all the best for the future.”
Blues boss Gary Waddock said: “I would like to thank him for what he’s done for the club, in particular last year when he was fantastic.
“Stuart deserves the chance to play at the highest possible level at an important stage of his career.”
Joint-chairman Don Woodward said: “Obviously we are sorry to see a player of his calibre leave but the deal is in the best interests of all parties.
The 28-year-old also scooped both the Players' Player and Supporters' Player of the Season prizes in 2011/12, as well as the Goal of the Season trophy for his stunning solo effort at Hartlepool United in October.
Since joining from Weymouth in February 2009, Beavon scored 34 times in 126 appearances for the Blues including an impressive 25 goals last term.
Beavon expressed an interest to further his career away from Adams Park and the club have reluctantly agreed to the deal.
