Experienced midfielder who joined the Blues in January 2015 following his release from Colchester United.
Bean started his career with Queens Park Rangers and made his professional debut - coincidentally - at Adams Park in a 4-1 defeat.
He won a Young Player of the Year award on the way to Rangers' promotion to the Championship and spent two spells on loan at Swansea before moving to Blackpool in 2006, but found it hard to establish himself as a first-team regular and switched to Brentford two years later.
It was at Griffin Park that Marcus enjoyed the best period of his career so far, scoring nine goals in their title-winning season in 2009, and played over 150 times before joining Colchester United on a three-year deal.
He became a popular figure at the Essex club but lost his place in the side following a change of manager and spent time on loan at Portsmouth before signing an 18-month deal at Adams Park, and he made his debut in a 1-0 win over York in January.
Marcus passed the 50-appearance mark towards the end of the 2015/16 season, having proved a consistent performer in the middle of the park and at times covering in defensive positions. He signed a one-year contract extension with the club to remain at Adams Park.
