DISABLED TICKETING POLICY
Disabled Liaison officer
Wycombe Wanderers have appointed two disabled liaison officers who are dedicated to the specific task and that task alone. The club has already shown the value of the appointed persons.
Each disabled liaison officer is able to refer to the policy laid out in the DDA guidelines.
Steward Training
All Wycombe Wanderers stewards undertake training to ensure the welfare of supporters. However the needs and welfare of disabled supporters are somewhat different. With extra training all stewards now are disability aware. But the two Liaison officers will need additional training in disability etiquette.
Stewards that receive this training will operate in the areas where disabled supporters are located and are identified by wearing tabards, which are distinct from other stewards.
Staff Training
Wycombe Wanderers believe that the development of the culture at the club, which recognises the needs of disabled supporters, begins at the top, from The Chairman down and should institute a programme of disability awareness and etiquette training throughout the club.
Pricing Structures
The guide lines show in keeping with disability etiquette, that maintains disabled people should not be treated any different to non-disabled supporters.
