Adams Park will join the rest of the country this season by declaring itself to be smoke free.

From the July 1st 2007, England introduced a new law banning smoking from virtually all enclosed public places. The home of the mighty Chairboys will be no exception, and smoking is now an offence throughout the whole of the stadium.

This will include Scores Bar, the Vere Suite and all executive and private boxes; although fans will be permitted to smoke in the car park.

If you have any questions about the ban please contact Richard Stanford at richard.stanford@wwfc.com.

The club's policy on this matter is as follows:

Introduction

It has long been demonstrated that second hand smoke causes damage to health. In light of this evidence and as a direct result of Football League policy we will support and implement a smoke free policy for our property and premises so that our staff and customers will not be at risk from harm caused by the inhalation of tobacco smoke.

Purpose

- To improve health

- To improve awareness of the risks associated with second hand smoke

- To protect staff and customers from second hand smoke

- To provide support and encouragement to those who wish to stop smoking

Principle of the Policy

A smoke free environment will help to reduce the risk of disease contracted through the inhalation of second hand smoke. This policy will protect staff and customers and aims to promote a healthier environment for all. We also make a commitment to give assistance to those who need it if they decide to stop smoking.

This policy will apply to all members of staff and all visitors to the business.

Statement

We are a smoke free business and from 1st June 2007 the entire premises and property of WWFC Football Club is smoke free. The smoking of any tobacco products will therefore not be permitted on club premises and property.

Scope

Smoking will not be allowed anywhere within boundaries of club premises.

Monitoring

This policy will be monitored by management. Any problems orqueries relating to this policy can be put to management.
