Richard Dobson's Under-18 side bounced back from the disappointment of their opening day defeat against Stevenage with a resounding 3-0 victory over Northampton Town on Saturday.

Goals from Nathan Olukanmi, Lee Weemes and Archie Lloyd handed the points to the Blues and the win could have been even more comfortable had visiting keeper Jak Riley not saved Josh Scowen's early penalty.

Their next Youth Alliance fixture is on Saturday 28th August when they take on Peterborough United before embarking on what they hope will be a successful campaign in the South League Cup competition.
