Wycombe Wanderers are delighted to announce that Richard Dobson has taken over as the club's Head of Youth.
The 32-year-old joined the Wanderers as the Head of the Centre of Excellence in July 2007 but after excelling in the role he was given a chance to manage the U18s after Greg Heald's exit in January 2008.
And 'Dobbo' has now taken over from the previous Head of Youth, Gary Karsa, who left to join League One side Colchester United earlier in the season.
He told wwfc.com: "I'm honoured to be given the role and excited by the potential we have at the club within the Youth Development department.
"It gives me a chance to put my stamp on what we do and I'm looking forward to continuing the good work done previously.
"We have a positive future to look forward to with the backing the club have given the Youth Development department."
Manager Peter Taylor said: "I'm delighted for him, he deserves the post 100%. I've been very impressed with him since I joined the club and it's a great move for both parties."
