BEAVON SCORES IN RESERVE FRIENDLY

Posted on: Wed 25 Aug 2010
Wanderers forward Stuart Beavon scored his first goal since returning from injury in a 3-1 reserve team friendly over AFC Bournemouth on Tuesday afternoon.

The 26-year-old made his comeback after a three-month lay-off in the second string's 0-0 draw at Brentford last week, and followed it up with an impressive display against the Cherries, with fellow striker Matt McClure also grabbing a brace.

Wycombe's next fixture in the Totesport Football Combination Central Division is away at Brighton on Tuesday 14th September (k.o. 7pm).

Team vs Bournemouth: Steve Arnold, Marvin McCoy, Miles Smith, Chris Westwood, Stuart Green, Jerome Federico, Sam Belcher, Keiran Murtagh, Ian Westlake, Matt McClure, Stuart Beavon.

Stuart Beavon's third kit is still available for sponsorship, so if you want to pledge your support to Wanderers' number 20 and enjoy a whole host of benefits, call 01494 455704 or click here for more information.
