Junior Lewis will remember his first full season as a coach for years to come.
Not only did he play an important role in the club's promotion to League One but he also guided the reserves to a 3rd place finish in the Totesport East Division.
Peter Taylor and the 37-year-old were reunited at their seventh club in June 2008 when the pair joined Wanderers and the Blues chief was impressed with what Junior accomplished in his first season on the coaching side of football.
Taylor said: "All of the staff worked extremely hard and honestly in the preparation for every game.
"They were outstanding. Junior Lewis was in his first season as a coach and he did a superb job, as did the other members of my backroom team."
As for the man himself, he earmarked the youngsters' performances in the reserves as a highlight in a special season for the former Leicester City defender.
Junior said: "We fielded a relatively young reserve side in all of our games and I was impressed with how much they improved and grew both on and off the pitch.
"Everyone who was involved with the reserve team this season did a tremendous job.
"It was a successful season all round. The youth team finished 4th in their division under the terrific guidance of Richard Dobson, the reserves finished 3rd and the first team achieved promotion."
