BLUES AVOID HORNETS' STING

The Blues second string fought to an impressive 1-1 draw with Championship side Watford on Wednesday evening, keeping up their hopes of a title challenge in the Totesport Combination.

Youth team midfielder Jordan Lumsden gave the Chairboys a first half lead, heading home clinically to bag his first goal at reserve team level.

However that good work was undone in the early moments of the second half, as the Hornets bagged an equaliser by tapping home from close range.
