Blues midfielder Matt Bloomfield will continue his comeback this afternoon when he plays for the second string away at Southend United.

'Blooms' came on as a late substitute in the Wanderers' emphatic 4-1 win over AFC Wimbledon on Monday evening and he will be hoping to help Junior Lewis' side notch up their fourth win a row.

Speaking about Blooms' return Wycombe boss Peter Taylor said: "I'm amazed how quickly he has got back, but he's worked so hard and it's great to have him available again. He's joined in full training for the past couple of weeks and he is progressing well.

"I intend to use him for at least half an hour in the game at Roots Hall."
