Wycombe old boy Jonny Dixon has been denied a return to his old club, after picking up an ankle injury in training for Brighton and Hove Albion.

Dixon was due to turn out for the Seagulls in a reserve fixture against the Chairboys at Adams Park on Wednesday afternoon, but could now be spending a month on the sidelines.

Jonny left the Wanderers to join Aldershot town for a fee of £6,000 in January of last year, after a career with the Chairboys that saw him score 7 goals in 73 appearances.

He went on to bag 15 goals for the Shots before Brighton snapped up the Spanish born striker for a fee £55,000 just a week ago.

Kick off is at 2pm at Adams Park, tickets are £3 or £1 for concessions. Season ticket holders get in free.
